Manos De Mujer, “Women’s Hands” is the name for APROCOMSA’s (Asociación de Productores Orgánicos Café Organico Marcala, S.A.) collective of exclusively women producers. The coffee is all sustainably grown, carefully harvested and meticulously processed. The result is an outstanding naturally processed bean with a caramel body, a distinctive blueberry/plum richness and a slight cocoa-nutty finish.
Clay soil, high altitude and temperate climate has made this an ideal region for coffee farming since it started here in the late 18th century. The area is so well suited to coffee that it’s protected by the government to preserve the land and agriculture as a way of life.
