MEXICAN CHIAPAS | MEDIUM-DARK ROAST
Chocolate-almond delicious, our sustainably grown, responsibly sourced Mexican coffee is grown and harvested in the southwest corner of Chiapas, on the border of Guatemala. Coffee plants thrive in the region’s rich volcanic soil and plentiful rainfall. To ensure the very best quality harvest, Chiapas farmers hand-pick their coffee then dry-mill and sort it for export.
The state of Chiapas produces a whopping 60% of Mexico's coffee (it also produces lots of cacao, which leads to chocolate, which makes us happy). Its rainforests are home to scores of animals and plants, many of which exist nowhere else in the world. (Is your own state home to the azure-rumped tanager? We thought not.) Ancient Mayan architecture abounds, as do incredible natural treasures like the Parque Nacional Cañón del Sumidero.

GUTATEMALAN HUEHEUTENANGO | MEDIUM ROAST
We of course love all of our coffee children equally — there are no favorites except Guatemalan Hueheutenango. It’s chocolate and caramel and a hint of baked pear and apple with cinnamon. It’s velvety smooth all the way through the finish with sweetness and acidity well balanced. Located in western Guatemala the state of Huehuetenango has the distinction of being the most fun word to say... ever. And it grows some of the most well regarded coffee in the world.

ETHIOPIAN YIRGACHEFFE
From the heartland of the world’s first coffees (and humans) adjacent to the Rift Valley comes our newest bean the Yirgacheffe. The body is brown sugar and toasted nuts with the distinct but balanced baked plum and citrus of an Ethiopian. It’s a unique and well rounded coffee that we roast to medium to keep the fruit bright enough but not overwhelming. Sustainably Grown — Responsibly Sourced.
